SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CORRECTING MISMATCH OF RF RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the phase mismatch of an RF transceiver without requiring a transmitter or a digital basic band.;SOLUTION: A correction system is used for an RF system including an RF receiver capable of operating in a normal mode or a calibration mode. This correction system is provided with a phase delay unit provided on at least either the I channel output or the Q channel output of the RF receiver. The system is also provided with a phase detector so configured as to detect a phase difference between the I channel output of the RF receiver and the Q channel output of the RF receiver. The system is also provided with a correction control unit so configured as to give a digital correction control signal to the RF receiver on the basis of the phase difference given by the phase detector.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
