PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column for Buddhist altar fittings manufactured in a relatively short period of time at a low cost even if being openworked.;SOLUTION: A first core material 1 and a second core material 2 are connected with a joint member 3, and openworked cylindrical members 4 and 4 externally fitted around the first core material 1 and the second core material 2 are integrally connected to the joint member 3. A first square timber part 11 of the first core material 1 is fitted into a fitting part 51 of a head member 5 till an abutment part 16 of the first core material 1 abuts on the end face of the head member 5 to integrally connect the head member 5 to the openworked cylindrical member 4. The base end part of a fourth square timer part 24 is fitted in the fitting part 61 of a leg member 6 till the abutment part 26 of the second core material abuts on the end face of the leg member to integrally connect the leg member 6 to the openworked cylindrical member 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
