PILLOW WHICH AUTOMATICALLY CHANGES HEIGHT WHEN SLEEPER SHIFTS SLEEPING POSITIONS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow which automatically changes height when the sleeper turns in bed.;SOLUTION: The pillow has the function of changing height automatically, while being unperceived by the sleeper, quiet with almost no noise, gentle in changing speed, by discriminating whether the sleeper is lying on the back or side taking advantage of the fact that lying on the shoulder or the back causes the sleeper to contact the small or large area of mattress, and feeding or discharging a gas or a liquid into or out of a bag built in the pillow according to the identification. The bag built in the pillow is provided with a plurality of partitions to keep equilibrium when the gas or liquid is fed into the bag. In addition, the built-in bag has a structure of laminated independent hermetical bags for allowing the adjustable range of height to be selectable in advance according to the difference of favorite height of the user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
