PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin steel strip which has higher fatigue resistance than 18Ni maraging steel, superior mechanical properties, a low cost, adequate nitrided characteristics, and superior strength, fatigue strength, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.;SOLUTION: The thin steel strip has a composition comprising, by wt.%, 0.05-0.15% C, less than 1.0% Si, 0.2-1.5% Mn, 4.0-5.0% Ni, 15.0-17.0% Cr, 2.5-3.5% Mo+1/2W, 0.5% or less Cu, 0.05-0.15% N, 0.0100% or less O, 0.01% or less Al, 0.05% or less Ti, 0.025% or less P, 0.010% or less S and the balance substantially Fe.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
