PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide treatment apparatus using a chelating fiber in which a chelating fiber having no fluidity can be transferred easily to the inside or outside of a treatment tank and to provide a method for transferring the chelating fiber.;SOLUTION: A liquid is made to flow in the the treatment tank 11 through one of liquid feeding pipes 12, 13 from the direction opposite to a flow direction of an original liquid to fluidize the chelating fiber 14 of a compacted state. Then, a chelating fiber transferring valve 18 is opened and a chelating fiber transferring pump 19 is operated while keeping the fluidized state of the chelating fiber 14 by circulating the liquid in an upward stream from the lower one 13 of liquid feeding pipes 12, 13 to the upper one 12 so that the chelating fiber 14 is withdrawn through a chelating fiber transferring pipe 17 together with the liquid in the treatment tank 11 and transferred to a transfer destination.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
