PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting demolishing method of a steel tower capable of safely and efficiently demolishing and removing the internally attached steel tower of installing an upper main column material inside a lower main column material by using a helicopter, by forming the main column material of an L-shaped steel material.;SOLUTION: A joint bolt of a separation part J of a tower body is left by some pieces, and the other joint bolt is extracted. Next, a bracket 10 is respectively fastened inside the four lower main column materials 5b in the separation part J by bolts. An upper side segment 2 is supported by its bracket 10, and the joint bolt of the separation part is wholly extracted, and afterwards, two sets of upper main column materials 5a of a diagonal position are drawn in the mutually approaching direction by a pulling tool 13 up to releasing taper fitting with the lower main column materials 5b.
