METHOD FOR DETECTING JETTING STATE OF INK-JET DEVICE, AND INK-JET DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a jetting state of an ink-jet device by which directionality and non-discharge of ink drops sprayed from a nozzle can be detected.;SOLUTION: A recording head part of an ink-jet recording device is arranged to the front of a CCD area sensor 36. Ink is discharged from each nozzle toward on a cover glass 38 of the CCD area sensor 36. The ink drops 46 deposited on the cover glass 38 are detected with the CCD area sensor 36. The directionality of the ink being jetted out can be judged by calculating coordinates of the ink drops 46. If the ink drops 46 can not be detected, it shows that the ink is not discharged from the nozzle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
