PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid driving valve and a high-speed response solenoid which allow sufficient driving output and sufficient operation speed to be obtained.;SOLUTION: A solenoid for the solenoid driving valve comprises a bobbin having a cross section of generally rectangular or elliptical shape, a polar plate fixed to the bobbin, and an armature which can slide within the bobbin in response to a magnetic field generated through the plate by a coil. The coil wound around the bobbin has a cross section of generally rectangular shape, and its minor-axis side is a width W. A ratio (D/W) of a diameter D to the width W is constituted to be in the range of 0.4-0.8, where D is a diameter of a cylindrical virtual iron core having the width W and whose cross section is equal to that of the armature. A ratio (A/B) of a major-axis side length A of the armature to a minor-axis side length B of the armature is in the range of 3.1 or more to 4.5 or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
