PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone elastomer with far higher resistance to destruction with long term stress than that of conventional silicone elastomers without addition of an additive. PSOLUTION: A silicone rubber compound capable of cross-linking is provided that contains (A) a polydiorganosiloxane having an organosiloxy unit containing a Si-C bond aliphatic unsaturated group, (B) a reinforcing filler with at least a specific surface area of 30 mSP2/SP/g, (C) a cross-linking agent, (D) a polydiorganosiloxane having vinyl diorganosiloxy terminals at both ends without having an aliphatic unsaturated group in the chain unit and (E) the other component, in which the polydiorganosiloxane has (a) an average degree of polymerization of 3,000-10,000, (b) the organosiloxy unit containing the aliphatic unsaturated group and (c) exhibits a low distribution in the separation of the organosiloxy unit containing the aliphatic unsaturated group with a proviso that a block number R180XSBa/SB(1-XSBa/SB) wherein XSBa/SBrepresents a molar fraction of the organosiloxy unit.
