PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system provided with a packet transfer apparatus that receives a packet addressed to a defense object terminal 2a by proxy independently of a segment wherein the defense object terminal 2a is located and transfers the packet to the defense object terminal 2a.;SOLUTION: The packet transfer apparatus 1 receives an APR request message including an IP address of the defense object terminal 2a from a communication opposite terminal 5, and when receiving the APR request message including the IP address of the defense object terminal 2a, the packet transfer apparatus 1 transmits a proxy ARP message including a MAC address of the packet transfer apparatus 1 to the communication opposite terminal 5, receives communication data addressed to the IP address of the defense object terminal 2a from the communication opposite terminal 5, discriminates whether or not the communication data addressed to the IP address of the defense object terminal 2a is to be transferred to the defense object terminal 2a, and transfers the communication data addressed to the IP address of the defense object terminal 2a to the defense object terminal 2a when discriminating the transfer of the data to the defense object terminal 2a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
