DECORATIVE FANCYWORK AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative fancywork which enables a person to enjoy handicraft, without having a stalk broken, even if the stalk loses moisture.;SOLUTION: A wire is used for a bent part of the stalk 1a of the decorative fancywork which comprises a plurality of raw materials 1 composed of a fragrant flowering plant, a herb, etc., a bag-shaped object 4 for packing a fragrant part of the raw material 1, and a ribbon tape 3 for covering the bag-shaped object 4 by being alternately woven around the stalk 1a of the raw material bent in such a manner as to enclose the bag-shaped object 4. Even in the case of the flowering plant, the herb, etc., the stalks of which lose the moisture after a lapse of days after reaping, the fragrant flowering plant such as lavender, the herb, etc. can be used as the raw materials 1 for the handcraft throughout the year, because the breaking of the stalk 1a is prevented by bending the stalk 1a in a position of a wire part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
