PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a simple and economical possibility taking static demand into consideration to close an opening of a guide duct for a diagonally stretched cable in a cable-stayed bridge. PSOLUTION: A corrosion prevented traction member of the diagonally stretched cable (1) of the cable-stayed bridge in particular comprises a bound body (3) of individual elements such as steel strands (24). The traction member is covered in the projecting region of a saddle pipe and passes through a duct (6) curved in a circular arc shape inside the saddle pipe (7) in a turning part region of a bridge pier (2) of the cable-stayed bridge. To prevent an influence on the end (26) of the saddle pipe (7) in connecting the saddle pipe to a structure, the bound body (3) guides the saddle pipe curved over a tangential outlet (P) of the bound body (3) over the length to the extent of projection that does not cause the risk of the bound body (3) abutting on the end (26) of the saddle pipe (7).
