PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column-beam joint structure at a roof receiving part of a steel structure simple in structure and dispensing with member machining for adaptation to a peripheral surface even when joining a beam to the peripheral surface of a circular post.;SOLUTION: In the roof receiving part of the steel structure, a pair of facing vertical steel plates 21, 21 are joined along a longitudinal direction to the peripheral surface near the upper end of the circular post 1 erected on the ground, and the respective upper edge parts of the vertical steel plates 21, 21 are joined to a overhanging part 11a of a flange cover steel plate 11. At least a rib steel plate 22 is connected and joined between the vertical steel plates 21, 21 to form a socket box 2. An open end part 31 of a roof supporting beam 3 is insert-fitted between the vertical steel plates 21, 21 of the socket box 2. Mounting holes 32, 32 formed in sidewalls near the open end part 31 coincide with fastening holes opened in the respective steel plates 21, and fastening members 4, 4 are inserted through the respective holes and tightly fastened.
