BRANCH PIPELINE REPAIRING TOOL, REPAIRING MATERIAL AND REPAIRING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a branch pipe lining material during drilling a main pipe lining material when lining a main pipe after lining a branch pipe.;SOLUTION: This repairing method comprises fitting a short cylinder portion 8 of a repairing tool 5 consisting of a flange portion 6, a cylinder portion 7 and the short cylinder portion 8, to a branch portion 4 of a branch pipeline 1 where the branch pipe 3 branches from the main pipe 2, through the inside of the main pipe 2, locating the flange portion 6 along the inner face of the main pipe 2, setting the main pipe lining material 12 on the inner face of the main pipe 2 to be lined in this state, and then cutting the short cylinder portion 8 of the repairing tool 5 together with the main pipe lining material 12 inside thereof to remove a portion of the main pipe lining material 12 blocking the branch portion 4. When the main pipe lining material blocking the branch portion is drilled, the short cylinder portion is protruded to the inside of the branch portion and so the shape of the short cylinder portion appears on the inside of the lining material, whereby the position of the branch portion is easily recognized. Cutting work is applied from the inside of the lining material along the shape of the short cylinder portion together with the short cylinder portion. Thereby, the branch portion lining material is surely drilled without giving possible damage to the branch portion lining material even when the branch pipe is previously lined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
