PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member management method and apparatus capable of providing services for individual members while protecting privacies of the members.;SOLUTION: The member information management center apparatus 1 which is connected to a member service provider apparatus 2 having a secondary member ID in association with an individual member ID via a network 5 and manages the member information on a member who owns the member medium 4 is provided with an individual member information database 111 for managing the individual member information with the individual member ID, and a secondary member information database 112 for managing the secondary member information with the secondary member ID.
