PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out further effectiveness in utilizing levan as a blending component for a cosmetic.;SOLUTION: This levan has an excellent beautifully whitening effect, more in detail, a melanin production inhibitory effect, tyrosinase activity inhibitory effect or pigmentation inhibitory effect, and by using the levan, it is possible to constitute a beautifully whitening agent. Further, by blending the beautifully whitening agent for using as a cosmetic or an externally used medicine, the effective prevention or improvement of various skin disorders (e.g. blackening of a skin such as spots, freckles, sun burn etc., and the generation of dullness, etc.) can be expected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
