DISC-TYPE TIRE TESTING MACHINE AND TESTING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc-type tire testing machine of a simple constitution capable of performing tests, even at large steering angles and forming snow and ice surfaces in a short time by a reduced amount of energy for cooling, in tests on snow and ice surfaces. PSOLUTION: The disc-type tire testing machine is provided with a disc-housing chamber for rotatably housing a disc for road surface simulation and having a tire insertion opening part for inserting a tire for testing; a disc-driving device for simulation for rotating the disc for road surface simulation; a tire support device for rotation-freely supporting the tire for test; and a tire moving device for three-dimensionally moving the tire support device.
