PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document digitization method, a document digitization apparatus and a document digitization program that can efficiently create appropriately signed electronic documents.;SOLUTION: According to the type of a document to be digitized, electronic saving requirement data is acquired from an electronic saving requirement data storage part 25. According to the electronic saving requirement data, a control part 21 of an MFP 20 decides a signature process. The MFP 20 reads under a color condition and resolution stored in the electronic saving requirement data storage part 25 to generate PDF file data. The MFP 20 then signs by the signature process decided according to the electronic saving requirement data. Specifically, a hash value is calculated and encrypted with a secret key to generate signature data. The signature data is attached to the PDF file data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
