PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a controller for power flow and an adjusting method thereof, using a rotational phase transformer.;SOLUTION: This controller 20 for power flow is connected to a power transmission line 22 between a first power area 24 and a second power area 26. The power flow controller 20 is provided with at least a rotational phase transformer circuit 44 including a first rotational phase transformer 1021 and a second rotational phase transformer 1022. The rotors of the first rotational phase transformer 1021 and the second rotational phase transformer 1022 are wound in the opposite direction to each other. To generate an effective phase difference or voltage difference between the first power area 24 and the second power area 26, there is provided a drive 306 which integrally rotates the rotors of the first rotating phase transformer 1021 and the second rotating phase transformer 1022.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
