MESH CORRECTION METHOD BY QUASI-STATISTIC MODEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mesh correction method by a quasi-statistic model capable of correcting an awkward element so as to bring it close to an ideal shape of the element for the element constituting a provided mesh and of correcting the mesh so as to improve analysis accuracy.;SOLUTION: This method for correcting a mesh is executed by the following processes: an arbitrary nodal point of the mesh is first selected; a local area comprising a plurality of elements including the nodal point is delimited around the selected nodal point; parameters for evaluating quantity of the respective elements in the local area are respectively calculated as a quasi-statistic model; coordinates of the apexes of the respective elements being the selected nodal points are moved so that the distribution of the calculated parameters becomes a predetermined one; and finally, the coordinates of the respective moved apexes are averaged so that a new corrected center of the local area is determined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
