PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lecture attendance management server which enables a user to take lectures by using a user terminal connected to the lecture attendance management server for managing the state of lecture attendance of the user, through a network and are capable of reducing the data volume of data transmitted and received between the lecture attendance management server and the user terminal, and to provide a lecture attendance management method.;SOLUTION: A user data storage module 30b uses user terminals 3a to 3k to store user data relating to users who take lectures, in a user data holding part, and a display control module 30d displays lecture data recorded in recording mediums connected to the user terminals 3a to 3k, on display parts of the user terminals 3a to 3k on the basis of lecture attendance histories held in a lecture attendance history holding part 32, and a history update module 30e updates lecture attendance histories in accordance with reports of lecture attendance transmitted from the user terminals 3a to 3k.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
