PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color developing service solution for a silver halide color photosensitive material with which a sufficiently high maximum density can stably be kept even when a small amount of a silver halide photosensitive material is processed, and which ensures excellent white ground properties of an unexposed portion and reduces the occurrence of tar in a color developing tank, and to provide a processing method for a silver halide color photosensitive material.;SOLUTION: The color developing service solution for a silver halide color photosensitive material contains at least a p-phenylenediamine color developing agent and a compound represented by formula (1), wherein 2-35 mass% of the p-phenylenediamine color developing agent is an N-hydroxyalkyl substituted p-phenylenediamine color developing agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
