PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the effects of only bulk density/fluidity on developer without being affected by unnecessary parameters.;SOLUTION: A developer condition detecting device has a pressure detecting section 6312 for detecting the pressure of developer that is in contact with it. The developer condition detecting device actively drives the pressure detecting section 6312 relative to the developer, converts the pressure, detected by the pressure detecting section 6312, into an electric signal and transmits it. In the developer condition detecting device, a pressure detecting means detects the pressure that the pressure detecting means receives from the developer when the pressure detection side of the pressure detecting means is actively driven relative to the developer, thereby detecting the condition of the developer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
