FUNCTION DEVICE, FUNCTION MAINTENANCE METHOD AND FUNCTION MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function device capable of continuously maintaining functions, in relation to a function device performing required functions by programming such as an FPGA; and to provide a function maintenance method and a function maintenance program. PSOLUTION: This function device is provided with a plurality of function parts (FPGAs 40 and 41) and maintains functions by changing over a function part having caused a fault to a function part in waiting. The function device is equipped with: a plurality of function parts; a fault detection part (fault detection circuits 26 and 28); and a switching part (switching circuits 14 and 16) and sets the function part in operation and the function part in waiting. That is to say, the function part having caused a fault is set in waiting and the function part having been in waiting is operated. Thereby, the functions can continuously be maintained without causing operation stop of a system due to the fault having occurred in the function part and reliability of the system can be enhanced by function maintenance.
