PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution means guaranteeing that a right related to a given content received by a client from a content provider is observed over the whole domain of the client by the client, especially that the right is observed in a level of a separation portion. PSOLUTION: In this method, a portable separation device receives a separation content, a result of digital processing of a provider content of audio and/or a video, and a separation license related to the separation content. The separation license includes permission information and the right using the content. By the portable separation device, consumption of the separation content in a device of the client domain is managed according to the related right received by the portable separation device independently of the provider.
