PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network phone system that can utilize a general searching server to search information of a communication destination, specify a global IP address of the communication destination on the basis of the searching result and attain communication between network phone terminals on the basis thereof and to provide a connection method of the network phone.;SOLUTION: A called terminal 3 opens a home page including information such as information on a user of the called terminal 3 and an IP address of the called terminal 3 by which the called terminal 3 can be specified and allows a Web server 4 connected to the terminal 3 via the Internet 1 to store the home page. A caller terminal 2 utilizes a searching server 5 connected via the Internet to specify the home page and obtains the IP address of the called terminal 3 on the basis of the information of the specified home page to make connection to the called terminal 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
