HOSPITAL DIET INTAKE CONFIRMATION SYSTEM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital diet intake confirmation system for electronically grasping kinds and an amount of food ingested by a hospitalized patient taken in an actual meal. PSOLUTION: For wireless IC tags 14 attached to respective dishes 7A to 7C, an electronic weighing machine 3 as a reader/writer transmits/receives data via radio waves. That is, in storage parts 10 of the wireless IC tags 14, IDs (identification number, data on weight, etc.) of the dishes 7A to 7C, data on a patient, and data (kind, amount, etc.) on food are inputted. Then, as each of the dishes 7A to 7C is placed on the electronic weighing machine, the weight of each of the dishes 7A to 7C is measured and a residual amount for provided food is calculated. In short, the intake of food of the patient can be measured accurately and electronically. In addition, these pieces of data are outputted to a nutrition management server and managed, thus permitting appropriate therapy from the viewpoint of food. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
