PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen utensil for temporarily resting a lid of a pot or a ladle while being used.;SOLUTION: The lid stand serving also as the ladle rest has a lid stand and a ladle rest set on an L-shaped or circular arc-shaped arm, and legs attached to both end points and an intermediate point of the arm.
