PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move the position of a sound image without generating the discontinuity of a sound in a sound image presentation method for positioning a sound image position by using a head transfer function and moving the sound image position.;SOLUTION: In this method for making the sound image perceived at an arbitrarly position by convolving the head transfer function to input signals, the head transfer functions at M pieces of positions within a space are made already known, the amplitude of the input signals folded into the M pieces of the head transfer functions, respectively, is changed, then the head transfer functions at the respective positions are folded, and M pieces of folded signals are composited and outputted.
