PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase communication certainty by eliminating the need for setting jobs at build-up of facilities such as air-conditioners, while maintaining a low cost and by attaining confirmation of the success or failure of the communication, without incurring increase in the communication traffic.;SOLUTION: In an air-conditioner monitoring network system, wherein at least one air-conditioner and at least one monitoring apparatus are connected via a network, a monitoring apparatus group comprising at least one set of the monitoring apparatus is regarded as one virtual monitoring apparatus, a unique virtual address is set to the virtual monitoring apparatus, when the one air-conditioner transmits information to the virtual address, each monitoring apparatus, configuring the virtual monitoring apparatus corresponding to the virtual address, returns reception success failure information denoting the success/failure of the reception of information to one air-conditioner in synchronism with each other, the air-conditioner decides the reception success/failure, on the basis of the composite signal of the reception success/failure signals, and transmits information to the virtual address, until a decision result indicates information that denotes the reception success.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
