PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting a biological material by separating the biological material in a small size in the electrophoretic separation of the biological material and eliminating the need for the work for the recovery from a supporting member and provide a biological material collecting cartridge.;SOLUTION: The biological material collecting method comprises the electrophoresis of the biological material using a gel as a supporting member 1 to separate the biological material in the supporting member according to its size, the insertion of a biological material collecting cartridge 13 consisting of a flat plate made of an ion exchange membrane into the supporting member 1 in a manner to position the cartridge 13 on one side face of the objective biological material, and the electrophoresis of the material to move the biological material toward the biological material collecting cartridge 13 and capture the objective material by the collecting cartridge 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
