PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purification apparatus equipped with a mechanism for preventing thirst after blood purification.;SOLUTION: The blood purification apparatus comprises a blood purification device 1, a blood circuit 2 (21, 22), a blood pump 3, a priming liquid supply line 4, an artery side air trap 23, a vein side air trap 24, an on-off valve V1, a dialysate circuit 5 (51, 52), a dialysate pump 6, and a filtering pump 7 shown in the figure and has a dextrose in water supply line provided on the vein side air trap 24. The blood purification apparatus is controlled to supply a prescribed amount of glucose from at least 30 minutes before the end of the operation of the blood purification to the end of the operation of the blood purification and to increase the volume of eliminated water to make the volume of eliminated water same as the amount of the supplied glucose.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
