PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic/prophylactic agent for drug-resistant protistan infections by efficiently proliferating lymphocytes and to provide good curing of the drug-resistant protistan infections. PSOLUTION: Blood collected from a patient suffering from the drug-resistant protistan infections is proliferated/activated with at least either one of interleukin 2 and an anti-CD3 antibody to thereby provide a pharmaceutical preparation for therapy or prophylaxis of the drug-resistant protist infections consisting essentially of the lymphocytes. As a result, an improvement in therapeutic or prophylactic effects on the drug-resistant protistan infections, especially multi-drug resistant tuberculosis infections with Mycobacterium tuberculosis and sufficient prophylaxis of the drug-resistant protistan infections after various surgeries or transplantations can be provided.
