PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new inducing agent or inducing accelerator of hemoxygenase.;SOLUTION: This flavanone derivative expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, X is phenyl having ≥1 substituent or a heteroaromatic ring which may have a substituent; Y is phenyl or pyridyl which may have a substituent; R1 to R3 are the same or different and are each H, a halogen atom, a 1-12C alkoxy, a 2-6C ring-formed or non-ring-formed amino group which may have a substituent, phenyl which may have a substituent, phenoxy which may have a substituent, benzyloxy which may have a substituent, a heteroaromatic ring which may have a substituent or hydroxy; and also the substituted form of X is an E-form, a Z-form or a mixture of the both] and the hemoxygenase-inducing agent or inducing accelerator containing the same as an active ingredient are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
