PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject molding material capable of providing a molding product excellent in low warping properties, high strength, high heat resistance, and ultrasonic processability by compounding glass flakes with polybutylene terephthalate resin molding material. ;SOLUTION: This molding material is obtained by compounding and mixing (A) a polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) glass fibers (having preferably 1.5-3.0 mm length of the glass fiber), and (C) glass flakes (preferably having 0.3-1.0 mm mean diameter). The compounding amount of the component B is preferably 5-35 wt.%, and the compounding amount of the component C is preferably 5-35 wt.% based on the whole of the molding material. The compounding ratio of the components B to C is preferably (3/7)-(7/3) in terms of the weight. Polyethylene terephthalate, a flame retardant, etc., are preferably compounded therewith as the component of the molding material.
