PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide choux pastry having a hollow, capable of imparting texture and flavor derived from an edible material while utilizing texture of choux which was not obtained in a conventional choux dough and further, excellent in meltability in mouth by kneading choux dough with a granular edible material having low specific gravity and to provide choux confectionery by using the choux pastry. PSOLUTION: The choux pastry dough contains the granular edible material having low specific gravity in the choux dough. In the choux pastry dough, the granular edible material having low specific gravity comprises one or more kinds of materials selected from granular porous material, a granular baked food of grain dough and granular beans.
