PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elevate the height of the bottom slab of a motorway structure to the ground side without changing the thickness of the bottom slab of the motorway structure and a road space on a road surface in the motorway structure having a box structure in which a side ditch is positioned on the road surface in the vicinity of the vertical wall of a side wall.;SOLUTION: In the motorway structure 1 having the box structure in an underground opencut, the side wall of a catch basin 4 is formed in a side-wall slab 4a made of concrete, and a rustproof metal plate 4c is unified with a side-wall slab lower end 4k and used as the bottom slab 4b of the catch basin 4 in the side ditch 6 laid while being continuously continued to the side ditch 6 mounted on the road surface side of a protective shoulder 8 by the vertical wall 7 of the side wall and the catch basin 4. In the structure 1, the thickness H3 of the bottom slab of the catch basin composed of the rustproof metal plate 4c is formed in 1 to 3 mm, the thickness of the bottom slab 4b is made extremely thinner than the thickness of 150 mm of the bottom slab 4b made of concrete of the conventional catch basin 4 and the height place of the bottom slab 2 of the motorway structure 1 is elevated on the ground side and the height of the vertical wall 7 is lowered in the side ditch 6 and the catch basin 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
