TRENCHING DEVICE AND TRENCHING METHOD USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trenching device and a trenching method using it by which a trench is dug continuously at a curved part without pulling out, from the ground, a cutter post of a trenching device in which an endless chain is extended around an outer periphery of the cutter post.;SOLUTION: In the trenching device in which the endless chain having cutting blades is extended around the outer periphery of the cutter post, two pressing members 14, 14 each having two pressing parts 15 are arranged side by side in the cutter post in the travelling direction of the cutter post in an independent manner. The pressing parts 15 project from and retreat into a side board of the cutter post in a direction perpendicular to the travelling direction of the cutter post, and press a trench wall upon projecting. Upon working on a curved area, the pressing parts 15 of the pressing members 14, 14 arranged side by side are protruded from the opposite side boards to strike the trench walls, by which the cutter post is rotated around a vertical axis in plane view and a continuous construction is performed without pulling out the cutter post from the ground at the curved part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
