PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure vessel in which a cap can be prevented from loosening owing to vibration, etc., thereby compression strength in a connection of the cap to the piping member attached thereto also can be increased. PSOLUTION: A high-pressure tank 10 is provided a fuel gas supply part 30 at one end of a shell. In the supply part 30, an almost cylindrically shaped valve assembly 5 is screwed in and connected to the almost cylindrically shaped cap 4 embedded in an internal liner 21 of the shell 20. A pressure reducing valve 51 and a cut-off valve 52 are installed consequently in the valve assembly 5. In the valve assembly 5, a retaining ring 6 is installed around the portion projected from the cap 4, its internal tooth 62 is engaged with a recess 53 of the valve assembly 5, and its external tooth 63 is engaged with a notch 43 of the cap 4.
