PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method of decomposition effects which enables the determination of the quality of decomposition of dioxins simply, easily and easily in the treatment spot of fly ash containing dioxins, and a decomposition method of dioxins for determining the decomposition effects, after the decomposition treatment of dioxins to obtain fly ash that the dioxins have surely been decomposed.;SOLUTION: In the judging method of the decomposition effect of dioxins, a decomposition agent is added to fly ash containing dioxins and dioxins in the fly ash is subjected to decomposition treatment by heating to determine the decomposition quality, based on the color of fly ash after decomposition treatment and a change in the colors of the fly ash, before and after decomposition treatment.
