PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a base material for a decorative sheet excellent in surface damage resistance with good productivity even if soft wood such as a planted tree or unutilized wood is utilized as a woody substrate.;SOLUTION: A molten hot-melt resin 4a is applied to the surface of a substrate 3 and a porous sheet material 5 is placed on the surface of a hot-melt resin coating layer 4b. Thereafter, the molten hot-melt resin 4a is infiltrated in the porous sheet material 5 by pressing the porous sheet material 5, and the porous sheet material 5 and the substrate 3 are integrated to obtain the base material 7 for the decorative sheet excellent in surface damage resistance and design properties.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
