PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lithium-doped gallium nitride and a method for producing the same, and a new lithium-gallium-based crystalline compound and a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: A calcined body of gel obtained by gelling an aqueous solution comprising gallium nitrate and lithium nitrate is nitrided in an ammonia flow heated to a high temperature of about 750°C, thereby a lithium-doped gallium nitride-based crystalline compound having a crystalline single phase or a crystalline compound consisting mainly of lithium cyanamide and gallium nitride is produced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
