USE OF FILM BASED ON PVDF, PMMA OR MIXTURE THEREOF FOR COVERING THERMOSET RESIN ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide use of a film comprising an adhesive layer and a below-mentioned layer A and for covering thermoset resin articles, wherein the film is produced by coextrusion and then fixed on the thermoset resin by hot-pressing, or the like, or the film is fused on the resin in inside of a mold, or the layer A is placed on the wall of the mold and then a precursor substance of the thermosetting resin is injected into the mold and crosslinked to provide a thermoset resin article covered with the layer A.;SOLUTION: The adhesive layer comprises 0-60 pts. wt. PVDF (polyfluorovinylidene), 10-100 pts. wt. PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) having a functional group, 0-50 pts. wt. acrylic elastomer and 0-4 pts. wt. UV absorber (the total making up 100 pts. wt.). The above layer A contains, as the main constituent, 0-100 pts. wt. PVDF per 100-0 pts. wt. PMMA. An SMC multilayered structure (a precursor substance of a thermosetting resin sandwiched between two support films) comprising a backing film, a crosslinkable composition (the precursor substance of the thermoset resin), the adhesive layer and the layer A is cut when used, the backing film is peeled off, the structure is placed in a mold and then the crosslinking is carried out to obtain a thermoset resin article covered with the layer A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
