PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new amino group-containing heterocyclic derivative having a wide absorption band in a visible region and suitable as a sensitizing dye for photoelectric conversion having high photoelectric conversion efficiency, and to provide a photoelectric converting material, a photoelectric converting electrode, and a photoelectric converting battery using the same. PSOLUTION: The terminal amino group containing heterocyclic derivative is represented by general formula (1) (wherein, RSB1/SB, RSB2/SB, RSB4/SBand RSB5/SBare each independently H or a monovalent organic residue which may be substituted; RSB3/SBis an anchor group which can be connected to an inorganic porous substance showing semiconductor characteristics; X is a divalent aromatic heterocyclic group containing at least one selected from a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom and a selenium atom; Y is a divalent linking group which may be substituted, and m is an integer of 1-5).
