PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve essential point such as moldability, mold parting properties and workability by ameliorating setting technique for prepreg insulation. SOLUTION: In a method for liquid pressure setting molding by which it is possible to cover a coil with a prepreg of a thermally setting resin and laminate a material of a plate or other shape through the prepreg and set the prepreg with the help of a liquid heating/pressurizing medium, a polyolefin or polyethylene material with a molecular weight of 20,000 or less is used as the heating/pressurizing medium. When setting the prepreg, the peeling, mold releasability and the insulating characteristic of the coil are ameliorated together with the shortening of a working time by using a polyolefin or polyethylene material as the heating/pressurizing medium. In addition, the penetration of the medium into the interlayer space or the surface layer does not occur.
