PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure of rolling hands of a rolling dryer, suitable for producing thinly twisted tea leaves and enabling changing the condition of twisting tea leaves according to the production environment such as humidity and temperature.;SOLUTION: The rolling dryer 10 has a semicircular rolling drum 16 and a fixing drum 14 comprising an upper scattering drum 18. A rotating shaft 22 which passes through the fixing drum 14 has on the same rotating track a leaf dredger 50 and rolling hands 30 and 40 in phases going ahead of and coming after the leaf dredger 50, respectively. The rolling hand 30 on a side going ahead performs a tea leaf twisting process in a condition that many tea leaves are piled up in the rolling drum 16, and the rolling hand 40 on a side coming after performs the tea leaf twisting process in a condition that slight tea leaves are piled up in the rolling drum 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
