PLASTIC OPTICAL FIBER PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND GRADED-INDEX PLASTIC OPTICAL FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic optical fiber production system that performs efficient production control and strict process control.;SOLUTION: A plastic optical fiber cable is produced through a plurality of production processes 1310, 1311, 1313, 1315, 1317 in a plastic optical fiber production management system. Each process uses its own apparatus and the system has a management apparatus that performs the production control by controlling each apparatus. The management apparatus has a production planning server 1303 having production conditions and selecting operational conditions that are preset in accordance with a production planning. The system is also provided with a production control server 1305 for controlling each apparatus on the basis of the operational conditions from the production planning server 1303, and a production information server 1306 for storing each of production information of condition variables, operational history, and qualities from the measuring instrument installed in each apparatus. Further, a product history server 1307 is also provided. Control on each process is strictly carried out based on the information from each server 1303-1306.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
