PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a test under the condition suitable for actual usage, relating to an on-line dynamic response experiment device for measuring a strength of such building material as a panel. SOLUTION: Grasping members 1 and 2 for grasping a test piece T are supported by a first supporting member 3 comprising a static pressure bearing and a second supporting member 4 comprising a constant oil-pressure soaring bearing, respectively. Between the grasping members 1 and 2, a compression force is acted on the test piece T by a compression mechanism 7 through test- piece clamping parts 5A-5D. On the grasping member 2, a weight W for giving an inertia force to the test piece T is placed. By driving an actuator 6 with a specified vibration wave form, the grasping member 1 is vibrated, for the test piece T to be loaded. Here, such compression force as appropriate for a weight of a roof, etc., is acted on the test piece T, with the displacement or the test piece T in horizontal direction not constrained, and the inertia force by the weight W is made appropriate, so that a test is performed under such condition as suitable for actual use.
