PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scar correcting agent capable of improving luster by correcting a scar existing on a surface of a base material, such as a body of an automobile, scarcely causing stench, and making it possible that a film is easily removed by wiping up the film with the aid of water, etc., to provide a scar correcting agent-containing liquid, and to provide a scar correcting method.;SOLUTION: This scar correcting agent comprises a water-soluble compound having an oxyethylene chain in its molecule. The scar correcting agent-containing liquid contains the scar correcting agent in water.
