PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a temperature of a carburetor with good efficiency in a short time especially at the time of cold so as to improve a warming property of an internal combustion engine by providing with a passage for leading water from a thermostat valve to a cooling water pump, a passage for leading water from the thermostat valve to a carburetor, and a passage for leading water from the carburetor to the cooling water pump. ;SOLUTION: During operation of an internal combustion engine 1, cooling water in a radiator is supplied to water jackets of a cylinder block 11 and a cylinder head 12 by driving of a cooling water pump 27 by rotation of a crankshaft 14, and the water jackets are cooled in a moderate temperature. When the internal combustion engine 1 is cold started, a main valve of a thermostat valve 39 is closed, and a cooling water suction part and a first cooling water delivery part 41 are shut-off from each other. At this time, an auxiliary valve is opened, a second cooling water delivery part 42 is communicated with the cooling water suction part, and thereby, cooling water heated in the water jacket is supplied to a jacket inlet 54 of a carburetor 53. It is thus possible to prevent freezing in the vicinity of a fuel supplying port in the carburetor 53, and it is also possible to promote warming up of the internal combustion engine 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
